Positive Group Debuts 21st In The 2016 BRW Fast 100

The BRW Fast 100 List

This is a list of the fastest growing companies in Australia, based on their most recent 4 years of turnover. For non-listed companies, the data is verified by an external auditor or accountant.

Being listed for the first time in 2016 is the result of 4 consecutive years of revenue growth at around 200% for the Positive Group. From FY2015 to FY2016 our revenue grew by 193%.

2016 has been a huge year for our company. We’ve moved to a new corporate office building to accommodate growing staff numbers. Positive Lending Solutions has grown to become the Positive Group, with 3 entities providing distinct financial services for our clients.

Under the banner Positive Group, Positive Lending Solutions is now exclusively a car and personal lending business, with sister company Positive Home Loans providing mortgage services and Positive Wealth for financial planning and insurance.

This split has been important for our marketing as we can now market specifically to each brand. Creating a new brand for our company we’ve drawn on the existing culture within our 4 walls.

The Positive Group's Had A Brilliant Year.

This is the first time we’ve been listed on the BRW Fast 100. In 2016 we listed at 7th in the Smart Company Smart 50 awards, moving from 33rd in 2015. This also shows just how fast the Group is growing. We’ve been able to do this by building a core business focused on utliising technology to maintain competitive advantage.

We’re 100% focused on providing the best possible customer service to our clients. To do this I’m giving my team the tech solutions they need to be more effective and spend more time focusing on client relationships.

The culture within Positive Group is the cornerstone to our business success. We celebrate wins as a team, we challenge problems head on as a team. Everyone has input into changes the company makes and this creates a thriving culture and generates creative and practical solutions to friction points in the business.

We’re always looking for new ways to grow and develop our business, and aren’t shy to take risks. In November we opened a new office in Perth with 10 staff to expand our physical presence and support the larger client base we’ve developed. We plan to open offices in each capital city over next few years.

From 2015 to today our staff numbers have grown from just 15 to a total of 64. Keeping the company culture constant through this expansion has been a challenge, but crucial to our success.

It’s our aim to create technological solutions that will allow our business to scale at rapid pace through helping our clients by providing solutions at their fingertips. We’ll continue to provide information openly and freely to people, whether they choose to take out a loan with us or not.

In 2016 we launched a Corporate Social Responsibility program to reflect these values. This gives our company an avenue to reach out to other businesses, young people and people in need and share the knowledge and expertise that we have. It’s an essential part of our company culture that ensures we give back to the community that has supported us in our success.
