Inside the 2015 Volkswagen Polo GTI

The interior panels continue the subtle sporty theme of the exterior, with glossy black insets, aluminium accents on the gear stick, pedals and steering wheel setting it apart visually. The technology has been selected to provide maximum value to the driving experience, leaving out less used features such as electric seat adjustment to keep the price low.

Four adults will fit comfortably, and while taller adults will be comfortable up front, the rear seats should be set aside for smaller adults and children.

Boot space sits at 280L, expanding to 952L when you fold the rear seats down. It's smaller than the previous Volkswagen Polo GTI as the battery has been relocated to the cargo area, making space for the larger engine.

Connectivity

There's an excellent reverse parking camera, a 6.5 inch touchscreen with an easy to use interface, bordered by shortcut buttons helping you move simply from one part of the menu to another. Buttons on the steering wheel also mean the driver can control the infotainment without taking hands off the steering wheel or eyes off the road.
